Credit Transfer Announcement for New GIEAS Students, Academic Year 114

Purpose:
To announce the application process and related review information regarding credit transfer for new students in the 114th academic year.

Basis:
According to the Regulations for Credit Transfer at National Chengchi University.

Details:

1. Eligibility:
   The following students are eligible to apply for credit transfer:

   • Transfer students.

   • Re-admitted students or those who retook the entrance examination.

   • Students permitted by law to complete credits prior to formal admission into a degree program.

   According to Article 7 of the Regulations for Credit Transfer at NCCU, new students must apply for credit transfer within the academic year of admission, based on the schedule announced by the university. Applications must be submitted in one single batch.

2. Application Period and Location:
   Applications must be submitted from Monday, August 11 to Thursday, August 14, between:

   • 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and

   • 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM,
     at the Office of the Graduate Institute of East Asian Studies.
     Applications will not be accepted outside of office hours or after the deadline.

3. Required Documents for Credit Transfer Application:

   • Completed Credit Transfer Application Form (please do not print double-sided).

   • One original copy of the complete academic transcript issued by the previous institution (department/program).

   • Course syllabi for all subjects to be considered for transfer.

   • Course Verification Form:
     If the student has already obtained a degree from the previous program and wishes to apply for credit transfer using courses that were passed but not counted toward the awarded degree, this form must be completed and verified by the authorized office of the previous institution.
