On December 5, GIEAS hosted a "China Fieldwork" workshop, chaired by GIEAS Director Chih-Shian Liou. The workshop featured Professor You-tien Hsing(邢幼田), Chair of the Department of Geography at the University of California, Berkeley, who shared her fieldwork experiences in China. Additionally, three doctoral students from the university were invited to share their past or upcoming fieldwork experiences, as well as their preparations, fostering an exchange of ideas among participants.
