Announcement for the Application of Scholarships at the Graduate Institute of East Asian Studies for the 113-2 Semester
The scholarship application for graduate students at the Graduate Institute of East Asian Studies for the 113th academic year, 2nd semester, is now open. Interested applicants should prepare the following documents in electronic format and send them to the institute's email address (eastasia@nccu.edu.tw) by March 17, 2025:

National Chengchi University (NCCU) Graduate Institute of East Asian Studies Scholarship Guidelines
Article 1: This guideline is established based on the "National Chengchi University (hereafter referred to as NCCU) Graduate Scholarship Award Guidelines."
Article 2: The total amount of scholarships for graduate students in this institute is determined based on the allocation from the university and the college each semester. The number of scholarship slots and the amount of the award are decided by the institute's faculty meeting.
Article 3: All graduate students in the institute's master's and doctoral programs are eligible to apply for the department's scholarships.
Article 4: Graduate students wishing to apply for the scholarship must submit their application to the department within one month after the start of each semester. The following documents are required:
Resume
Academic transcript (10%) (transcript from the previous semester)
Research plan (60%) (1–2 pages maximum)
Academic Performance form for the institute's scholarship (30%) (attached form) This is to allow the institute's faculty meeting to conduct the review.
Priority will be given to those who pass the institute's required thesis proposal review.
Reapplicants must include an update on the progress or results of their previously proposed research topic.
Article 5: Awarded students (excluding new student scholarships) must arrange a presentation at the department to share their research results and assist in promoting the institue's scholarship program.
Article 6: These guidelines are effective upon approval by the institute's faculty meeting, and any revisions will follow the same process.
