Application Announcement for the 'Interdisciplinary Credit Program in Chinese Mainland and Cross-Strait Relations Studies'

Program Description:
The goal of this program is to cultivate students' basic knowledge of Chinese mainland studies, foster a broader and more comprehensive interest in cross-Strait relations, and enhance students' understanding of regional and global trends. This program integrates courses related to the study of the Chinese mainland and cross-strait relations offered by various departments, institutes, schools, and centers at the university.

Program Courses:
This add-on program requires students to complete at least 15 credits. The required courses consist of 3 credits in mandatory courses, 3 credits in group courses (see the list of courses below), and 9 credits in elective courses. Students who pass the courses will receive a certificate of completion. If students have already taken related courses, those credits will be recognized by this program.

Program Advantages:
This program offers a comprehensive understanding of the current situation and trends in the Chinese mainland, which will help in pursuing master's degrees and meeting job market demands.

Target Audience:
Second-year and above undergraduate students from all departments at the university.

Number of Students Accepted:
15 students per academic year.

Application Period:
Applications for the next semester (first semester) should be submitted before May each year, and applications for the second semester should be submitted before November each year.

Application Process:
Fill out the program application form and submit a transcript. Send the completed documents to the office of the Graduate Institute of East Asian Studies (Room 270804, 8th Floor, North Wing, General Building of Colleges) before the application deadline.
